MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Product care
We use the highest quality materials to produce our clothes and accessories. Therefore, it is very important to properly use and care for the clothes after purchasing them. Thoughtful care of clothes allows you to keep them in good condition for longer, but also takes care of the environment. We therefore recommend that you follow the instructions for use, washing and care of our products.
Detailed information on how to care for your clothes can be found in each product card on our website, but also on the clothing tag.
WASHING
The first step is to consider whether the clothes actually need washing or whether they just need to be aired out. Each subsequent wash exposes the fibers to stress. Instead of washing, especially for wool, it is recommended to use the airing method.
When you decide to wash, it is worth using lower temperatures, not only will you save energy, but also extend the life of your clothes. Most fabrics can easily handle lower temperatures. In the case of wool, we recommend hand washing in cold water, maximum 30 C. It is also worth choosing ecological detergents that are environmentally friendly and dedicated to specific fabrics.
We can wash more delicate clothes and accessories in special nets that will protect the clothes from damage.
DRYING
Let's choose to dry clothes outdoors, using solar energy. This is not only a natural way to dry clothes, but also a way to prolong their condition. Remember that wool likes to be dried flat, so the clothes will retain their shape.
Use a tumble dryer carefully - it burdens fabric fibers, increases the likelihood of clothes shrinking, but also consumes more energy than a washing machine.
IRONING
Is it really necessary to iron the clothes, or will any minor creases disappear by shaking them off and hanging them up? Materials such as wool or waffle fabric do not require ironing. However, if it is necessary, the care label sewn into the clothes will inform us about the permitted ironing temperature.
Particular attention should be paid to dark clothes and those with decorations and prints, which are recommended to be ironed on the wrong side. An alternative to a traditional iron is a steamer, which irons clothes more gently.
Striving for a sustainable lifestyle, we can do a lot, starting with simple, everyday activities. Together, through small changes, we can influence larger positive changes for our planet.
